Missouri Foxtrotter Gelding

Casper the Fox Trotting Horse is a 6 year-old registered Missouri Fox Trotter that was raised since a baby on our breeding farm located in Freeburg, IL. Our family has been breeding and raising Missouri Fox Trotters for over 40 years with over 50 head of registered Missouri Fox Trotters on hand. We still have Casper’s mom in our herd, and his sire is four year old World Champion Stallion “Top This.” As you can see in our videos, Casper is a well-trained, well-experienced fun little horse and does a lot of different things. We have trail ridden him extensively with several different riders and also has quite a lot of experience in the buggy. If you are looking for a cool looking little horse, check out Casper. He stands 14.2 hands and is easy to handle, catch, and ride. Casper is an all-around fun horse. GAITS: As you see in the video, Casper has a flat foot walk, foxtrot, running walk, and canter. DISPOSITION: Casper has been on our farm since he was a baby, so he was tied up, and halter broke at an early age and has been handled ever since. He will stay tied for a long period of time. He’s easy to catch, saddle, load, and shoe. EXPERIENCE: Casper has a tremendous amount of trail experience. He has been ridden all over Illinois, the mountains in Colorado and the Ozark mountains in Missouri. He has been on organized trail rides. He will lead or ride in the middle or end of the pack without any problems. He also enjoys pulling the buggy as you can see from the video. We have had several people, of all ages, ride Casper.
