Kentucky Mountain Gelding for Sale in Beattyville, KY

Hello everyone, my name is Blue Duck, or just Blue for short. I am a blue roan ky mnt, 12 years young, 15 hands tall, and looking for my perfect human family! I’m a very laid-back, easy-going, easy guy to get along with. I’ve taken care of all my riders, from kids to more advanced ppl. I love trail riding and exploring new places, but my favorite thing to do is check cattle and sometimes even rope calves. I hold them while my mom gives meds or ear tags. My mom has trained me to do a lot of neat stuff, like neck rein, side pass, open gates, and move all my body parts. I, of course, would like to have the best rider I can find to teach me more cool stuff, but I don’t mind teaching less experienced riders or giving pony rides to kids. I’ll do just about anything for a treat! My skills : – stretch out so my shorts can get on – Load myself on the trailer – I can sort/gather / rope cattle – Pick up my feet when my mom says foot – I will cross any stream, creek, ditch, or log – Can ride out by myself or in big groups – Ground tie – Side pass to the mounting block Up to date on all vaccines, Coggins, and dental * NOTE: Registration papers are in the mail and will be added to the page as soon as they are received. OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 12/03 @ 5:30 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.
