I would like to introduce to everybody “Rogue Lawyer.” This is a stunning 15.1 hand gelding who just celebrated his 3 year old birthday in October. Lawyer has spent most of the summer and all of the fall with us learning to be the best trail horse he can be. He goes wherever you point him whether it is across a river, over a log, or up and down the steepest rock bluff. Lawyer is a solid woods horse with enough motor to take you anywhere you want to go and enough sense to get you there safely. He rides out alone just fine and is not spooky or flighty, and he also rides well in a group. Lawyer has a fancy four beat gait that is sure to get attention on the trail or in the show ring. He has been shown sparingly but placed in the top three both times he was shown. On top of having a good four beat gait, Lawyer also has a beautiful canter. He parks out to mount and will step over to the side of a truck or to the mounting block for easier mounting. Lawyer will also let you shoot a rifle off and around him, and we have even shot a compound bow from his back. He does everything a good horse should: tacks up quiet, stands to mount, accepts clippers, bathes, stands for the farrier, loads and unloads well, and has been ridden around dogs and cattle almost daily. He also works very well single in a wagon or pulling a sled. This horse has a great start and has his whole life ahead of him to make someone their next trail partner for years to come. We have compiled over 17 minutes of video showcasing this beautiful bay. We encourage everyone to watch his full video, and if you are interested, contact us today to make an appointment to come check this guy out in person and see if this sharp young gelding is the right fit for you.

About Hustonville, KY
The community was originally known as The Crossroads from its location on trails connecting the Kentucky and Green rivers and the Falls of the Ohio with Logan's Fort (present-day Stanford). It was then known as Farmington and, after the 1818 erection of a post office, Hanging Fork after a local stream named for two bandits who were hanged by Virginia officers rather than escorted back for trial. For three months in 1826, it was known as New Store, but the name then returned to Hanging Fork. When the town was established on February 29, 1836, it was renamed Hustonville after two local landowners; the post office adopted the name the next year. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1850.
