He’s ready to be your next Buddy! Gentle, quiet, and friendly — the kind that greets you at the gate and always aims to please! A young crossbred gelding with the foundation to advance in the discipline of your choice! Buddy is a 3 yr old, Belgian/Quarter Horse cross gelding, currently standing 15.2. With a rich bay coat, long flowing mane, and a kind expression, he’s just as easy on the eyes as he is to be around. Buddy has been trail ridden through state and national parks by myself, my daughter, & her friends. He confidently tackles hills, water crossings, & bridges. Rides across open pastures and down wooded paths. Buddy has been started in the arena, he walks, trots, and canters both directions on the correct lead. Around the farm, he’s been used to move cattle and works comfortably alongside stock dogs. He is accustomed to daily life on the farm and is unbothered by farm machinery, UTV’s, and other livestock. Buddy can be stalled or is perfectly content turned out in a mixed herd. He’s always easy to catch, stands tied or cross-tied, and loads and hauls without issue. With his calm mind, solid foundation, and great start in both trail and arena work, Buddy is the kind of young gelding who’s ready to step into your life and become that dependable partner everyone hopes for — your next Buddy! If you would like to meet Buddy or have any additional questions, feel free to reach out! He sells current on all cares & we can assist in arranging shipping to anywhere!
