Missouri Fox Trotter Gelding for Sale in Marshall, AR

At auction on Thehorsebay.com until 11-18-25 Wonder Boy is an attractive 6-year-old dappled palomino gelding. He is a registered Missouri Foxtrotter who was born, raised, and started right here on our farm. Wonder Boy is named after the Arkansas Tech University Wonder Boys, where I graduated from College. We’ve been breeding, raising, starting, and finishing the training of Missouri Foxtrotters for over 25 years. My wife and I, along with our four Children, are the owners of Boston Mountain Fox Trotters and Horse Camp, nestled in the Boston Mountain Range of the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. BREEDING: Wonder Boy has the perfect pedigree in the Missouri Foxtrotting horse industry. He is a grandson of the great Southern Sunrise and a grandson of World Grand Champion Prince Jester. Both his Grand sires are Breyer Model Horses. His Sire Southern Sunrise’s Romeo is no stranger. He was the 2009 Amateur World Grand Champion. His Dam was never shown, but we have video footage available of her; she was the own daughter of WGC Prince Jester and Youth WGC Cassey’s Missouri Star. Missouri Cassey Jones sired both of his grand dams. Missouri Cassey Jones is known as the broodmare sire; his daughters have produced more World Champions than any other. His Pedigree consists of 9 World Champions, 6 World Grand Champions, and 2 Reserve World Grand Champions.

About Marshall, AR

The community was named for John Marshall, chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Although Marshall was mostly destroyed during the Civil War, it grew during the 19th century. The Missouri and North Arkansas Railroad sped the growth of the town during the early 20th century. However, the post-World War I slump hit the area economies hard, causing an effect well known to other parts of the country.
