Meet Boomer, a striking 7-year-old Thoroughbred gelding standing at a solid 16 hands. This handsome boy has quickly become a barn favorite — kind, curious, and always eager to please. Boomer has the sweetest personality both on the ground and under saddle, making him a joy to work with for confident riders looking to continue developing a talented young horse. Originally retired sound from racing after 23 starts, Boomer has transitioned beautifully to life off the track. He’s been restarted thoughtfully, showing impressive natural balance, a soft mouth, and a lovely uphill canter. He’s light, athletic, and comfortable to ride, already offering easy flying changes and showing a genuine willingness to learn. Boomer enjoys flatwork, hacking out of the arena, and exploring the trails. He’s barefoot with great feet and an easy keeper.
