Beautiful 15hh Buckskin Quarter Horse Mare – “Skyler” Located near Charlotte, North Carolina Meet Skyler, a stunning 13-year-old buckskin Quarter Horse mare standing 15 hands high. I’ve had the pleasure of owning her for the past three years but due to work commitments I do not have the time to give her anymore. Skyler has a sweet, willing nature and is not at all “mare-ish” – she’s an absolute joy to be around. She loves being on the trails and will happily step over logs and cross bridges. She’s also comfortable working in the arena and has solid basics under saddle in both English and western. She crossties, stands quietly for the farrier, and has excellent ground manners. Skyler is very low maintenance: she’s barefoot with strong, healthy feet, can live out or be stalled, and only sees the vet for routine vaccinations. She is a sensitive and responsive ride, so not suitable for beginners/young kids so a confident intermediate to advanced rider will really enjoy her the most. Skyler would make a wonderful partner for someone looking for a reliable trail companion or a fun all-around horse with a great brain and lovely movement. Final Price determined on Nov. 2 @ 7 pm
