Marigold is an 11-year-old, palomino Tennessee Walking mare, standing 15.0hh. Not only is this mare flashy and eye-catching, but she has a personality you can only dream of. Marigold has a quiet and willing attitude, no matter where she is, along with a wonderful temperament and excellent ground manners. She has a natural 4-beat gait, which is butter smooth and fun to ride. Marigold has been hauled on several occasions and ridden through rugged terrains throughout the mountains. She is very surefooted and has no issues with various types of wildlife, including birds, wild turkeys, deer, coyotes, etc. Marigold remains steadfast and isn’t fazed when unexpected things happen on the trail, such as unleashed dogs barking or chaotic traffic. She has been exposed to semi trucks, trailers, and tractors and has not exhibited any issues. She will go down steep slopes, cross water shallow or deep, cross bridges, and step over logs and collapsed trees. She loads, ties, bathes, clips, and stands while being tacked/mounted. She’ll ride out alone, or in a group, no matter the setting. Teenagers have ridden her to convenience stores and throughout neighborhoods multiple times with their friends. She goes willingly and doesn’t have a care in the world about it. This mare will do it all. Marigold recently had a vet check done and passed with flying colors. She is completely sound with no health issues or extra maintenance, and is UTD on everything (dewormed, feet trimmed, teeth floated, etc).
