Kentucky Mountain Gelding for Sale in Crab Orchard, KY

Everyone, meet Charlie Brown, a one-of-a-kind, Kentucky Mountain Horse gelding that has a long list of amazing qualities and skills. Charlie Brown is 5 years old, stands 15.1 hands tall, and has a lovely conformation. He is a beautiful golden palomino with a white mane and tail, and has the absolute sweetest disposition. Charlie is super friendly and personable. He is loving and loves to be around people. Charlie is the type of horse you can always grab to get the job done. He is safe, gentle, reliable, honest, and loyal. He has an all-natural gait that is smooth to ride all day long, and he requires no special shoeing or bit to achieve this gait. We have owned Charlie Brown for about a year and a half now. He has been our boy’s personal horse, although everyone in the family has enjoyed him. In that time, we have created many lasting memories. From swimming him in Lake Barkley, to hunting squirrels and raccoons, to winning ribbons at horse shows, to driving him to town- he has done it all! On the trail, Charlie is amazing. We have taken Charlie on many weeklong camping trips. He will tread easily up the biggest mountains, and he is experienced on every type of terrain. He is truly an excellent, steady, and sure-footed trail horse, trusted by our entire family. He will ride alone or with a group. He is confident enough to ride in the front, but plenty laid back enough to ride in the back. Charlie Brown has also been a big help around the farm. From checking cattle and fences to moving and sorting cows and calves, Charlie Brown is very versatile and can adapt to any situation you put him in! From squirrel hunting in the daytime to raccoon hunting in the nighttime, Charlie Brown has been hunted off of many times. He is experienced in leading dogs, navigating rough terrain, and handling all types of gunfire. Charlie Brown is also an excellent driving horse. He has been driven countless miles both by himself in a single hitch and with other horses in a double hitch. He is super safe and steady! He will walk along or pick up and go when you ask him to. He is completely traffic safe and has even been ridden and driven to town many times. As you can see in the video, we have also shown Charlie Brown at many local fun shows! He is so much fun to show and always does a great job! He has even packed the flag at the horse show! With his color, good manners, and gait, he has packed home many ribbons! Not much ever phases him. Between the lights, music, traffic, and commotion, he is always the same safe and steady horse! Charlie Brown is also great with tarps, whips, and guns, as you can see in the video. He is clean and quiet in the stall and gets along well with other horses in the pasture. He is easy to catch; he loves attention and is a pleasure to be around. Charlie Brown stands patiently in the cross ties and for the farrier. He loads and hauls wonderfully and loves grooming and a bath! There are so many great things to say about Charlie Brown! We would love for you to schedule a visit to see him for yourself! Be sure to watch our full YouTube video to see all of this and more. We can arrange shipping anywhere in the US. Feel free to call or text with any questions!
