Palomino Jimm is a gorgeous 7-year-old Icelandic/KY Mtn gelding. Standing at a whopping 13 hands. With his beauty and grace, he will surely get you noticed, whether you’re trail riding or decide to show! This boy has been there, done that!
Jimm has a sweet and gentle disposition that would make anyone an excellent trail mount. He crosses ditches, logs, and rocks with ease, takes his time going up or downhill, and moves very smoothly. You hardly move in the saddle the entire time you are on his back. He’s truly a one-of-a-kind gem that anyone would be truly lucky to have. He is loved by everyone he meets!
Jimm is traffic safe, trail savvy, & surefooted on the trails. He has packed riders of multiple ages, ranging from 7 years and up! & yes, by themselves! With a large group or a small group, he will ride anywhere to put himself, for he will ride out alone. He is not barn or buddy sour in any way. He will stand tied wherever you put him. He has been on multiple overnight camping trips and is a dream!
Don’t miss your chance to own this wonderful boy! ✨

About Jeffersonville, KY
Jeffersonville began as an important cattle-trading center in Eastern Kentucky during the mid-19th century. It was then known as Ticktown, either for the tickgrass ( Eragrostis echinochloidea) in the area or for the ticks in the cattle pens. Although it is unknown when the settlement became known as Jeffersonville, the first post office was established under that name on March 9, 1866. It presumably honors Pres. Thomas Jefferson.
