Rocky Mountain Horse for Sale – Meet Blue Moon Gino! This big, beautiful 11-year-old Rocky Mountain gelding stands a solid 15 hands and is as kind and willing as they come. He’s got a great mind, excellent temperament, and a heart to please. The kind everyone’s looking for. He stands quietly for the farrier, bath, saddling, mounting, and dismounting. Loads and unloads easily, picks up all four feet without hesitation, and is well-mannered on the ground and under saddle. He neck reins, backs, and even rides bareback with just a rope. Out on the trail, he’s an absolute dream! Smooth, steady, and sure-footed. He’ll go anywhere you point him: through creeks, over logs, swimming, or across metal and wooden bridges. He’s been ridden in and around traffic, and nothing seems to bother him tarps, flags, none of it phases him. He’s kid-tested and family-approved — my five-year-old has ridden him through creeks and on trails without a single issue. He’s also been shot off of with both a .38 mag and a .22, and took it all in stride. This gelding has been camped off of and trail-ridden all over Mississippi, Kentucky, and Tennessee, including South Fork and Caney Mountain. He’s seasoned, confident, and as trustworthy as they come. If you’re looking for a safe, smooth, and dependable trail horse with looks, brains, and experience — this Rocky Mountain gelding is the total package you don’t want to miss.
