Missouri Fox Trotter Mare for Sale in Mound City, KS
Lucy is a MFTHBA registered 2021 filly and the total package when it comes to substantial size, correct gait, intelligence, and flashy color. She closely resembles her gorgeous sabino grandsire, Jack’s Sensation H., and her great grandsire, Merry Boy Sensation, and has his comfortable older-style fox trot. Lucy was started under saddle last fall as a 3-year-old and continued her education with professional training this spring as well. She is a joy to work with, having had extensive groundwork and arena work, as well as being introduced to obstacles, cows, and trail riding. She handles rough terrain, water crossing, swimming, and horses loping past her extremely well. You can take her through all of her gaits- walk, flat foot walk, fox trot, canter, and gallop- and she is always ready to take direction from her rider, whether it’s stopping, turning, speeding up, or slowing down. Lucy is adaptable and quick to form a connection with her rider. Once she has that connection, she’s always ready to try her best, whether she’s had a day off or a few weeks off.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. Her trainers are also happy to answer additional questions regarding her training. Lucy can be test-ridden in the trainer’s arena.
