If you want a smooth reliable ride, this is your guy. He has been used for anything and everything around our place. In the time we have owned him, he has been ridden in our hometown Christmas parade, given kids pony rides, and used as one of our go to mounts. Ralph enjoys long walks down the trail and seeing new places. If you feel comfortable in the driver seat, drop the reins and crack a cold beer because Ralph may be the best trail horse you will ever sit on. He will cross water, logs, ravines, bridges, and any other trail obstacle. I can’t think of a time he’s refused to go over anything on the trail. You can even dress him up and take him to the arena. He is naturally gaited and will stand out wherever he goes. Another cool thing about Ralph is that he drives. If you are sore and don’t want to ride or want to take that new date of yours out, just hook him up and go. He hitches wonderfully and travels down the road beautifully. The Amish neighbors of ours have even used him to go to church on Sundays. Ralph stands like a gentleman for bathing, grooming, saddling, and more. I am a farrier as my day job and Ralph has always stood like a champ to get his feet done and has never given me a problem. We have kept him barefoot and have had no problems. He has loaded with no problem in all the different trailers we have hauled him in. He can be turned out or kept in a stall. He stands like a broke horse and doesn’t paw or sit back. He is not buddy sour and can be ridden out by himself. Ralph truly is one cool horse. I could go on and on all day about him. Greensburg KY Emily 615-542-4564

About Greensburg, KY

The 1780 settlement was originally known as "Glover's Station", for local landowner John Glover, who received 193 acres (0.78 km 2) in the area as a military grant after the American Revolution. Following the establishment of Green County (named for Revolutionary War Maj. General Nathanael Greene ) from parts of Lincoln and Nelson counties in 1792, Greensburg was laid out and established two years later as its eponymous seat of government. It was incorporated as a city a year after that. The central Public Square was also laid out in 1795 and has been retained as designed since then, with the only changes being the paving of the square with concrete and the installation of concrete dividers and parking meters in the four quadrants.
