Friesian Gelding for Sale in Hardin, KY

VooDoo has been with me since he was 2 years old. I bought him off of an Amish man in Mayfield, KY. VooDoo currently stands 16/2 and is still growing. Crow black with feathers and a long, thick black tail. He had the most gorgeous mane. long and naturally wavy, but he rubbed it out. It’s growing back in nicely and won’t take long as fast as his hair grows. VooDoo is a complete baby doll. 1st, to greet you in the pasture. Super easy to catch and handle. Absolutely loves attention. He will smile for a treat. Stand still to mount from the ground or mounting block. Stands perfectly still for tacking saddle or harness. VooDoo is very forgiving. His bridle wasn’t going on easily, and he never fussed once. The shaft from the cart came out of his harness and was poking him. We felt terrible, because we didn’t see it and had no idea. He just kept going like nothing was happening. VooDoo doesn’t know what a spook is. Tarps, whips, jingle bells, goats, pigs, dogs, turkeys, deer, and all of the crazy things we have done around him have pretty much made him numb to chaos. He likes to be in the middle of it with you. VooDoo would follow you into the house and stay with you if you would let him. He has been turned out with a Belgium gelding, a colt, and now three mares. He gets along with anything. He has a gorgeous headset, a head shake, and lots of action. He is flat-shod, so that’s all natural!!! VooDoo has a calm, flat walk, slow trot, fast trot, and a dream canter. We exposed him to an AR-10 and 45 in the video, and that’s the 1st 2 times he’s ever had us shoot by him. You could easily hunt off this guy with minimal work on your end. We have carried flags on him. He’s parade-ready!!! If you’re looking for a big, gorgeous Friesian with tons of personality and a cuddle-bug heart, this is your guy. VooDoo didn’t come registered, but we are happy to pull tail hairs and send them off if papers are important to you. if parentage can’t be verified, he can be registered as a Friesian sport horse. I’m happy to send you all of that information. a complete vet check has been performed on VooDoo. He’s up to date on all vaccinations. He has no scars on his body. I’ve owned him for 18 months, so this isn’t a flip horse we know nothing about. He has had 30 days of professional riding, as well as a year of driving and continued riding/exposure. He is best suited for a novice rider or above. He has no bad habits and does not act up; he just has some go to him. VooDoo is in Western KY at G&G Flatshod Farms. I’m only selling him because we sold our Amish carriage and are buying a wagon for a team. I have a team of blue roans that will pull it. I can’t let this guy waste away in the field. He absolutely loves his job. Gets so excited to see you coming and loves every adventure. This is a forever horse, with the training and looks everyone wants. OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 6/04 @ 4:10 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.
