Paint Mare for Sale in Castle Rock, CO

Aspen is a 15.2h black and white paint mare, Approximately 12 years old, and truly the whole package! She’s confident riding out alone in open fields and has smooth, easy gaits. Whether you want a slow, collected lope or a big, forward lope—she’s got you covered. She rides both Western and English, knows her leads, does flying changes, and has a beautiful jump. Neck reins nicely, soft in the mouth, and has a great stop. Aspen is well broke with some fancy buttons, but quiet enough for riders who just want to enjoy a relaxed ride. She’s also fantastic on the ground—loads and hauls easily, backs off the trailer on her own, stands like a statue for the farrier, and for grooming/tacking up, and is currently barefoot with no issues. She’s up to date on vaccines, deworming, and Coggins. Not spooky, or reactive—tarps, flags, bags, and unexpected surprises don’t bother her a bit. She’s a sweet, easy-going mare who gets along with other horses and doesn’t cause any fuss. ✔ Rides Western & English ✔ Jumps well ✔ Neck reins, soft mouth, great stop ✔ Fancy broke with fun buttons! ✔ Barefoot & sound, stands for the farrier ✔ Gets along well with other horses, no drama ✔ Up to date on spring vaccines, deworming & coggins If you’re looking for a well-trained, and versatile partner, Aspen is the one! Watch her video—you’ll love what you see! OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 5/14 @ 3:30 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.

About Castle Rock, CO

The region in and around Castle Rock was originally home to the Arapaho and Cheyenne people. They occupied the land between the Arkansas and South Platte Rivers. White settlers were drawn to the area by rumors of gold and by land opened through the Homestead Act of 1862. However, it was the discovery of rhyolite stone, not gold, that ultimately led to the settlement of Castle Rock. Castle Rock was founded in 1874 when the eastern Douglas County border was redrawn to its present location.
