“Ringo” has the heart, lungs, and stamina to carry you all day out on the trails. He neck reins with ease and moves in an incredibly smooth, natural four-beat gait that he maintains effortlessly, even at faster speeds. He easily transitions into a nice, collected lope and climbs challenging hills with confidence and ease. Ringo would be the perfect match for an experienced rider who appreciates a horse with plenty of drive and energy. He’s got the motor to go the distance. On the ground, Ringo is just as reliable. He stands quietly for the farrier, loads and unloads without a fuss, and patiently waits at the mounting block and for you to mount. He also shows some Quarter Horse-like skills, including a nice rollback and responsiveness to leg pressure. Whether you’re working in the arena or spending a long day on the trail, Ringo brings a versatile, willing attitude to every ride.

About Wartrace, TN
The name "Wartrace" is rooted in a Native American trail that once passed through the area. The town, initially known as "Wartrace Depot," was established in the early 1850s as a stop on the newly constructed Nashville and Chattanooga Railroad. During the Civil War, the town was the winter headquarters of Confederate General William J. Hardee during the aftermath of the Battle of Stones River, and the Old Chockley Tavern in Wartrace was a gathering place for Confederate officers during the Tullahoma Campaign. A skirmish was fought at Wartrace on April 11, 1862.
