Winston has the best personality! He wants to be in your pocket no matter what you are doing! He has been used on the ranch for normal day-to-day activities and loves everybody! He is an honest gelding who takes everything in stride. We have used him in parades, weddings, funerals, Quinceanera, birthdays, and special events. You name it; he has probably done it. Winston crosses water, downed timber, rocks, sagebrush, railroad tracks, whatever you point at, and he will be willing to do. He is super easy to catch, when he hears you come outside, he is already headed your direction! Which you will see in the video. He is good about his feet, loads and hauls like a dream, and baths just fine, although that’s probably his least favorite thing. He is used to dogs, cats, goats, pigs, chickens, backhoes, tractors, and all farm equipment. He is a horse you can leave off for months and come back to and harness or saddle up, and he will walk off like he’s been at it every day. Winston’s all-time favorite is a nice leisurely trail ride. He loves to be out on a nice, relaxing trail ride. Regarding driving, I hook this team up easily by myself. They know the word Woah; the videos will also show this. Winston has been used 2 up, 3 up, and 4 up. They were used in Canada, where we imported them years ago for pulling contests, obstacle courses, and even some driving clinics. Due to the lack of snow this last fall, we have made the hard decision to sell our truly Fantastic Gypsy Vanner Team. Winston sells this sale; his half-brother Ripley will be in the following sale. We are located in Alturas, CA, and are happy to hold for up to a week after the sale for one to make transportation arrangements. We are also happy to haul up to 150 miles to meet the transporter.
