Dakota is a well-bred registered foundation in Shetland. She can go in any direction and loves to work. She has been ridden English and Western, roped off of, moved cattle, English on the flat or over jumps. She also jumps in hand and has been started on trail obstacles and in the cart. She has been used for Leadline and ponied off of horses. She is not mare-ish but is toward the top of the pecking order. Rides out alone or in a group and can keep up with the big horses. At the 2024 ASPC Shetland Congress, she was grand champion and reserve grand champion in her undersaddle classes. She was third in a big color class with a 10-year-old kid. She was a great mom and produced beautiful babies. You can’t go wrong with her bloodlines. For size reference, The kids in the videos are 4’ 9” and 70 lbs And 5’ 10” and 125 pounds.
