Right upfront, folks, here are the key points in the following ad. Jazz has a low back, so our vet recommends him for a rider+saddle combination of 170 lbs or less. Jazz is a senior horse with some arthritis but moves nicely when kept on a good joint supplement. He is not suitable for long rides, especially on rough trails. Jazz has a fast walk and a smooth slow gait. He does not have a smooth canter. If you are looking for a pokey horse or a speed racker or a horse to gallop across a field, he is not the horse for you. We do not have papers on Jazz but he has TWH/Racking horse conformation, style and disposition. Jazz is gentle and friendly with people and other horses. He is good to groom, saddle, mount, shoe and vaccinate. Stands well for fly spray and bathing. Loads great. He's good on the trails and crosses water. Spooks in place. In the two years that I have owned him, Jazz has never bucked, reared, bolted or wheeled. I recommend Jazz for an intermediate rider because he is a fast walker, which seems to make beginners nervous. He is alert on the trails, not out of fear but out of curiosity. Jazz is up to date on Coggins, vaccinations, deworming and shoeing/trimming. His teeth were last floated on January 16, 2026. He does need a yearly dental. His teeth are slightly misaligned, so they do not wear evenly. This does not affect his health or his ability to eat or wear a bit. It is just something his new owner needs to be aware of. I am selling Jazz because I have health issues and my riding days are limited. I want to find him an experienced home where he can be loved and enjoyed as much as he is here.
