Houston is a big 15.3hh 12-year-old gelding that has been trail-ridden and shown all over KY, TN, and WV. This big guy knows more about trail riding than any of us. He is outstanding. You can pretty much point him down a trail and let him go, and he will do the rest. Houston is extremely sure-footed and knows what to do. He will ease up and down the roughest trails and never make a wrong step. It takes years of experience and thousands of miles to be the trail horse he is. Houston is super good, gaited, and very smooth. Neck reins and handles the best. Very friendly, he will catch you in the pasture. Great manners tied out and trailers like a mouse. Houston loves his job. He isn’t spooky or flighty. Rides out with or without company. All I can say is big, pretty geldings like him don’t come available very often.
