English Show Prospect Updated

This ad has been updated using information learned from a Pre-Purchase Examination on June 27, 2024. Because of his sound movement and willingness to jump, we had every reason to believe Serbian would pass a PPE and he had been advertised as a hunter/jumper prospect. The PPE revealed that he has a small chip located high in his right knee, not in the joint. He also has a small bone projection in that knee, also not in the joint. His knee does not cause him pain. Although the examination ruled out Serbian for the stadium jumping and cross-country courses that the potential buyer wanted him for, our veterinarian said he is absolutely suitable for non-jumping and low-jumping classes. He is handsome with lovely movement, so he would be eye-catching in classes such as dressage, equitation, hunter, hunter under saddle, etc. Serbian Sailor retired from racing in March of 2023 never having taken a lame step. He has good feet and has been barefoot since retirement. He is barefoot in all the pics and videos. Serbian is good-minded and easy to handle. Social with people and other horses. He loads easily and stands nicely for the farrier. His only vice is that he will chew wood when kept in a stall. I resolved this problem by spraying the wood edges with diluted blue dish soap from Dollar General. Serbian is ready to move on to a new home as a show or pleasure horse. He is not "hot" but he has good energy. He picks up his leads, reaches for the bit, and moves beautifully. More pics are available upon request.
