Chisholm is a nice, gentle gelding. He will go anywhere you ask him. He has a good walk and strides out. He is easy to ride and would be fine for beginners. He has been ridden on the ranch gathering cattle, up and down steep hills, through ditches, through water, through brush and deadfall, over logs. He isn’t spooky, doesn’t mind deadfall or branches bouncing off his legs, and doesn’t get fresh with time off. Feet trimmed, teeth floated, vaccinated, and dewormed. We haven’t found a vice with him. He is good to shoe, good to load and back out of the trailer, good to tie up, easy to blanket, easy to clip, easy to vaccinate and deworm. If you want to hit the trail with no-nonsense, he would be your perfect match.
