Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Boston, MA

Meet Honey! It took me forever for find him for myself and here he is proudly being offered exclusively to anyone interested/ Honey was bought specifically for myself with every intention of going in the keeper pen. I just received a promotion at work and decided that I do not need to let this kind of horse go to waste since I will be too busy to ride but instead he can be someone’s number one. I know that this buckskin gelding is not only my dream horse, but someone else’s too. We have ridden Honey extensively through our cows, on trails here on our farm, and in our indoor, there is never too much of a challenge for Honey… deep sticky mud, steep hills, large groups of cattle, pasture roping, NOTHING is too much of a challenge. He will hold the rope strong and tight and will not leave you in a sticky situation in a group full of momma cows, that’s for sure! He is a nice fun ride and will go anywhere you point him. You can open and close the gates on him, go push the cattle where you need to go or take him for a spin and show off his fancy buttons!! Honey is well broke and will move off your leg pressure, has a nice stop and back and an awesome lope!! He easily transitions between walk trot canter and picks up leads both ways. Along with being a ranch/trail horse, I have played with him some on the barrels and I believe he can make a solid barrel horse overnight. Honey is kind and clean in the stall, easy to catch when turned out, stands to be mounted, is not cinchy and does not crib or weave. He is sound and shod all the way around. Stands well for the farrier and vet with no Issues. Honey truly is your next ranch partner or confident trail mount!!

About Boston, MA

Boston's early European settlers had first called the area Trimountaine (after its "three mountains," only traces of which remain today) but later renamed it Boston after Boston, Lincolnshire, England, the origin of several prominent colonists. The renaming on September 7, 1630, ( Old Style) [b] was by Puritan colonists from England who had moved over from Charlestown earlier that year in quest for fresh water. Their settlement was initially limited to the Shawmut Peninsula, at that time surrounded by the Massachusetts Bay and Charles River and connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. The peninsula is thought to have been inhabited as early as 5000 BC. In 1629, the Massachusetts Bay Colony's first governor John Winthrop led the signing of the Cambridge Agreement, a key founding document of the city.
