Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Crab Orchard, KY

“Raptor’s Blue as Silver” is a stunning, very unique roan gelding that really does shine like silver. “Silver” was born on April 15, 2019, and we have owned him since he was just six months old! He stands 15.3 hands tall and is a registered Tennessee Walking Horse. There are truly more than enough good things to say about Silver. He has the most wonderful, friendly personality. He is like a best friend who is intelligent and kind, gentle and athletic, all at the same time. With his willing attitude and amazing mindset, his potential is unlimited. His skills list is quite extensive, as he has had a lot of experience in his five years of life. His gait is exceptional, and he knows all the tricks! He rides bridle-less and is a seasoned trail horse who has traveled all over. Silver is also handy around the ranch, a ribbon winner at the gaited horse shows, and rides like a quarter horse in the arena! Silver has a super smooth, completely natural running walk that is enjoyable to ride all day long. He requires no special shoeing to achieve this gait and rides quietly with just a small broken bit. He is easy in the mouth and works off of leg pressure. He is very responsive to your cues and commands. Silver is also a trick horse! He will lie down at your command while being mounted or even from the ground. He will also sit like a dog and follow you around like one, too! At the command to come, he will follow you wherever you go, however fast or slow you go! He will side pass to a mounting block or whatever else you choose to mount from! Silver is so well-trained that he can even be ridden without a bridle. He will work solely off of your leg commands. While gaiting without a bridle, he still has the same, all-natural, super-smooth running walk. He can go from this gait to a slow, collected canter just by paying attention to your body cues. He will stop, turn, and back, all without a bridle at your command. While Silver is one of the most amazing Tennessee Walking Horses you will find, he also has the talent to ride like one of the best Quarter Horses! Silver will lope circles in both directions, taking the correct leads both ways. He will turn on his hindquarters in 360-degree circles. He neck reins and is soft and responsive when he turns. Silver also has a beautiful one-step lope and a big sliding stop! Silver is an absolute dream trail horse! He is safe, steady, and sure-footed on all types of terrain. From riding alongside cliffs in Caney Mountain, Arkansas, to the rough and rugged terrain of Kentucky to wet, swampy land in Michigan, Silver has seen it all and can navigate it all with ease. He has been on camping trips where he has been trail ridden every day and stayed on a picket line at night. He is always a perfect gentleman and is ready for the next day’s adventure. Silver has also been used around the ranch and is pretty handy! We have pasture roped off of him and used him to..... READ MORE on MYHORSECONNECTION.COM or call us (606) 416-2570
