Patrone is one of the brightest young horses you’ll ever have the pleasure of riding! He is so versatile in every direction you could want. He loves to earn your trust and aims to please. He has so much class, from dressage, jumping, and trails to the branding pen. He is absolutely fantastic, fearless, fun, and adventurous out on the trails. He is first class on the ranch. Gathering to sorting, roping, doctoring, and branding. He’s amazing in the arena, knows his leads, has flying lead changes, and collects up nicely. He is currently jumping 3ft 6in with plenty of scope and hind-end action. He will place you at the top of your classes. He could be a top-level dressage horse as well. He is so versatile; he walks, trots, lopes, and will even gate for you if asked correctly. He has excellent conformation with outstanding bone and a nice-sized foot. He’s made to last, requires no maintenance, and is always sound. Crosses rivers, logs, down timber, and as sure-footed as they come. Side passes, half pass haunches in, haunches out, bridles up nicely. He will load or unload anything. He is a perfect gentleman for the farrier and veterinarian. Stands to be tacked, loves being groomed, and just being involved, period! He rides great outside; wildlife, nothing phases him. Here is your chance to own one of the neatest horses we’ve enjoyed for the last few years and been a favorite of everyone’s. They only get a little prettier with this kind of mind and heart! He is up to date on all vaccines and deworming. He also gets along with others in the pasture, not being dominant.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
