He goes where you point him and is always eager to ride out across new terrain. Rocks, water, steep bluffs- he has been through it all. He’s smooth in his gaits, and has a good stop. Cochise is good around traffic, other horses, and dogs! Spent time gathering cattle and prowling lots of pasture. He stands good to saddle, loads and unloads easy, and hauls good. He gets along great with other horses, is an easy keeper, and does well with time off. He’s barefoot now but I have had shoes on him before. I’ve never had any soundness or health issues with him.
