Very excited to be offering you one that we brought up from the start. This is Maverick, a gorgeous 4 year old Quarter horse/draft horse cross gelding. His deep golden coat and striking dapples will get you noticed wherever you go for sure. He has a heart of gold that just wants to please and try his best to do what you ask. He has three very smooth, easy to ride gaits. In the arena, he will ride nicely off your leg pressure, knows his canter leads and has a smooth, steady trot. Maverick is definitely wise beyond his years, and really has his whole life ahead of him. He would make a great hunt horse, or a great horse for someone to gain some confidence on. He has been on lots of trail rides; even overnight rides and rides that we call moonlight rides where you ride with a large group of people at night with only the moon as your source of light. He does great in traffic and will go out on a ride alone right from the farm with no issues. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride, and he does wonderful for the farrier. He is a gentleman in the barn no matter if you have him in the cross ties or tied in his stall. He is easy to catch in the pasture and loves attention from anyone. You can ride him in your choice of tack as he has had English, western tack on and doesn’t mind even going bareback. He is a great horse that we would feel good with anyone getting on his back.
