He has an “old” soul, the best minded 2 yr old I’ve had the pleasure of owning. Easy and laid back are the best words to describe this fella. I believe he will excel in and out of the arena absolutely nothing phases him. Rides around like a seasoned pro. Stands tied on tie rail or cross ties. Stands for mounting, dismounted, clipping, baths, farrier, vet etc. Frenchy is bred to do just about anything if running barrels is your thing he can do it, if roping cows he has a little cow in him too, he is always game for anything! Frenchy will load on any trailer & back off with ease. He has been started slow and correct, will collect, side pass, nice turn around, soft in his mouth and has really started to have a nice handle. Although young I believe just about anyone could ride him. He is sensitive yet forgiving; he is the one that everyone wants in their barn! About Newberry, SC

European settlers (primarily German, Scots-Irish, and English) began arriving in great numbers in the 1750s. Newberry County was formed from the Ninety-Six District in 1785. Because of its central location, the town of Newberry was chosen in 1789 as the county seat for Newberry County, which was part of an extensive area of cotton plantations. County and town politics were dominated by planters. By the coming of the railroad in 1851, Newberry had become a thriving trade center.
