Thoroughbred Gelding for Lease in Arvada, CO

Mr. Sakoya is looking for a dedicated half-leaser! Located in arvada, CO. Sakoya is a 4-year-old, 16.3 hand OTTB who has since been retrained and is quiet, slow and gentle. He would be an amazing horse for a beginner to intermediate rider and knows all of his cues. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult per the barn rules. He has a bone chip in his left knee as well as some minor nevicular issues that he has special shoes for, but as a result does best with flatwork only. He rides both western and English but I only have western tack for him at the moment which will be included in the lease for use. Grooming supplies and grain are also included as well. I am also open to allowing his lease partner to take him on light trail rides off property if asked at least two or three days in advance. Feel free to text or call me for lease terms and to schedule a test ride/pick out your riding days! TEST RIDES ARE A MUST!! I want to ensure that both horse and rider can be a good fit and ensure that his rider will be committed to the days they're wanting to come out on. I am going to college and as a result simply don't have quite as much time to ride as I would like for the time being. Can provide more riding videos upon request!

About Arvada, CO

The first documented discovery of gold in the Rocky Mountain region occurred on June 22, 1850, when Lewis Ralston, a Georgia prospector headed for the California gold fields, dipped his sluice pan into a small stream near its mouth at Clear Creek. Ralston found about 1/4 ounce (6 g) of gold, then worth about five dollars. Ralston's companions named the stream Ralston's Creek in his honor, but they all left the next morning, drawn by the lure of California gold. During the Pike's Peak Gold Rush in 1858, Ralston brought another group of prospectors back to the site of his first discovery. The placer gold in the area soon played out, but hard rock deposits of gold were found in the mountains to the west.
