Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Duluth, MN

“BEN” 2010 QH/TN walker cross gelding, around 16h This boy right here is the one everyone searches for! Tall, THICK, dark, handsome and with a brain worth all the money in the world. Ben is your trail riding/camping horse extraordinaire. He rides out alone or in a group, not spooky, more whoa than go. He’s wonderful for all his handling and has that puppy dog personality. This horse will make all your trail riding friends jealous. No special needs and will be sent with some of his belongings. Owner wishes she didn’t have to move him but life isn’t always what we want it to be sadly. STRONG preference goes to someone who would be interested in his wonderful pasture buddy as well. (info below) Located near Mankato, MN Asking seven.zero.zero.zero “BEAU” 1997 Foundation bred QH gelding, about 15.1h This sweet guy is the exact example of why knowledgeable horse people will tell you age is experience. Beau is your been there, done that type gelding. Sheriff mounted posse, trails, camping, reining, sorting. His resume is loaded! And don’t let the numbers scare you. He still has some get up and go. Safe and sane minded but best with someone with a touch of confidence due to that. There are many miles ahead for this guy and he sure would love a partner to take along with. Please note his one special need of a higher calorie diet with soft hay and good grass (teeth are going). Besides that, you would never know Beau’s true age. STRONG preference to someone who would be interested in Beau and Ben together. And please no “he’s too old to be moved” comments. Life doesn’t always follow what we want and this is the hardest decision for his owner. I bought one of my very best lesson horses at age 21 and I will be forever grateful someone was willing to let his experience be shared with others. About Duluth, MN

The Anishinaabe, also known as the Ojibwe or Chippewa, have inhabited the Lake Superior region for more than 500 years. They were preceded by the Dakota, Fox, Menominee, Noquet and Gros Ventre peoples [ citation needed ], whom they pushed out of the area. Already established as traders, after the arrival of Europeans, the Anishinaabe found a niche as the middlemen between the French fur traders and other Native peoples. They soon became the dominant Indian nation in the region, forcing out the Dakota Sioux and Fox and winning a victory against the Iroquois west of Sault Ste. Marie in 1662.
