More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Apollo is our extremely special and flashy 4-year-old Mustang gelding! Apollo is among the most down-to-earth and easy-to-be-around four-year-olds we’ve ever met. He is as sweet as can be, a very hard worker, and a motivated learner! He is one of the most uncomplicated horses we’ve trained! He has never offered to buck, kick, rear, etc. He has always been level-headed but down to business. We have used Apollo on countless group and single trail rides. He will lead the pack or take up the back and has no issue either way; he is not scared of vehicles, semis, trailers, dogs, bikes, or crowds and handles town life like a dream. He is easy in the mountains and EXTREMELY sure-footed. He has dealt with crazy terrain and climbs without a fuss (and barefoot!) He will rope and drag a cow, check fences, brand a cow, or push the herd. We have also taken him to local ranch sortings; though he is not the quickest horse there, he is always the most level-headed and easy to be around. Apollo also has considerable talent and tries for jumping. We have taken him to the cross country course, and my sister takes show jumping and dressage lessons on him. He sure is flashy with an English saddle! Apollo will carry a flag, walk over a tarp, and we have thrown every scary object at him- he’s seen it all! No matter the direction you want to take this horse, he will be easygoing and up for the task! He already has an incredible foundation at just four years old and will only continue improving. Come check out our flashy Apollo!

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
