Mule Gelding for Sale in Minnesota Lake, MN

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY,COM. SALE ENDS ON 11/15 @ 3:40PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Jim is a 12-year-old halflinger mule. He stands at 13.3hh and is strongly built. He is a sweet little mule that, once you win his trust, will do anything for you. He has solid ground manners. He has been camping all over and can manage any terrain you can throw at him. He has amazing endurance and will ride through the hills all day without missing a beat. He will go anywhere you point him. He loves learning competition trail obstacles and is traffic farm machinery safe and just not fazed by much of anything. You can do almost anything you want while riding him, from tricks to plopping a lawn chair on his back; he will roll with it. He walks out easily and can easily keep pace with the larger mules or horses. He pastures well with others and will ride in a group or out alone. He does not neck rein but is light on the bit. He can run, slide to a stop, and walk off on a loose rein. He is brilliant and easy to teach, but because he is a little too smart for his own good, I do not recommend him for a beginner or very young rider. My 13-year-old daughter easily handles him. When we got him, he had been with a family that had no clue how to handle a mule and inadvertently had learned some bad habits we had to correct. His problems are well in the past, and he just keeps making amazing headway to being someone’s favorite mule friend.
