Handsome is a nine-year-old Kentucky Mountain horse. After 30 days of riding, he is in shape and ready for the mountains. Handsome was restarted from groundwork to riding in a snaffle bit, Bosal, and then transition bit. This horse rides really well in a Bosal. Has been rode in the round pen, arena, and mountains. He is great with other horses and around dogs. Handsome is quiet on the ground. You can pack anything on him. He has a lot of go! He needs an intermediate to advanced rider. This horse has no buck, but he needs soft, quiet hands when ridden. He will get you to the top of the mountain without stopping! His walk is super smooth and fast. He will pack any load for you and follow behind like a champ in the pack string. Handsome has been hobbled and picketed with a hind foot in the mountains. He will cross any river or creek. He loads and trailers with ease. He picks his feet without issue and is great for the farrier. He is a very willing horse. Current with worming, vaccinations, and teeth floated.
