Here is one of my personal horses that I am offering to the public. She is absolutely a true all around. She was very easy to teach anything and retained it so well. Even when I started her, she was just a dream to work with. She is finished in all ranch aspects, from sorting to gathering, roping, and running a bullwhip off of her. I have shot off of her. She is excellent with dogs, helping gather and moving the herds. She is tough as nails and will go places that make the man from Snowy River blush! She does excellent in pens or out in the wide open. She also does a lot more than just this. She is fantastic out on the cross-country course, with much scope. She is destined to be in the dressage show ring. She also does Western dressage. She rides as good as one can. She rides with seat leg and one-finger neck reins. She started right with plenty of time off and in between riding and learning to mature correctly and to her full capabilities. She side passes, haunches in, haunches out, spins both ways, big stop, rides collected, half passes, knows her leads, flying lead changes. There is not much she doesn’t do. She is excellent out on the trail alone or in groups. She loads and unloads as they all should. She bathes well. She stands to be tacked and untacked. She stands to be mounted and dismounted. She is trained to lay down on command to mount and dismount. Tap her shoulder to mount, and put your spur or heal on her shoulder to dismount. She will pick you up and ride off. This mare is phenomenal. I can’t say enough good about her. I’ve done all I can with her and enjoyed the years with her. But it’s time to let her go to bigger and better things. I’ve done all the hard work, and she’s ready to be polished. I can’t wait to see her succeed. She has so much to offer and is truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse and best friend. I have had her ridden by a professional dressage lady for video purposes only, and she was amazed by what she said. Everywhere you take her, everyone’s impressed and complimentary of her.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
