Appaloosa Mare for Sale in Eaton, IN
Callie is a 7-8 (we believe) year old appaloosa mare. She can lead and load, and is super easy on a lead however she is extremely skiddish until you get ahold of her. Once you have her halter she’s submissive. We’re not sure if she’s ever been ridden because we have only had her 2 months. We bought her to train for our little but have had a couple trainers tell us that she will only be able to be trained for an experienced rider which ours are not. She also has not had a farrier because she is so skiddish, she would barely let the vet check her out. We would like her to go to someone who is willing to work with her and treat her well because she’s so sweet!

Eaton was laid out and platted in 1854. The town incorporated as a village in 1873, soon after the railroad had been built through the neighborhood. The first discovery of natural gas in Indiana occurred in the town of Eaton in 1876. The discovery set off the Indiana Gas Boom, leading to two decades of rapid regional growth.
