Rocky Mountain Mare for Sale in Stanford, KY

Baesler’s Kid is an old blood line Rocky, stocky and strong. She is a healthy 13 year old, 15.1 hands, up to date on shots, coggins, teeth, and feet. This mare is a seasoned trail horse and does anything asked of her. She crosses water, logs, and downed trees. She is sure footed and fabulous on rugged, hilly or wooded trails. She stands to mount and dismount. She is not spooky and will take the lead. She will stay in the back or ride in the middle with a small or large group. You can ride her on a lose rein but when asked she will also give you an amazing gait and canter. She is appropriate for a confident adult beginner or an intermediate rider. Bailey is of gentle temperment, curious, smart, and gets along well with other horses. She trailers well, stands for the vet and farrier, and is always easy to worm. She is an easy keeper and a new home will want to provide for her a dry lot and a low sugar/low starch diet to keep her fit and healthy.

The name "Fort Logan" is still used to this day by local businesses, including the Fort Logan Hospital and Standing Fort Collectibles. The main street was built on what was originally a buffalo trail.
