Morgan Gelding for Sale in Custer, WA
10 yr old Lippit Morgan Gelding. Beautiful big Sorrel, big boned, solid body, great conformation with the chiseled Morgan Head. A good man-sized Gelding. He loads/unloads, hauls nicely, will stand tied for hours and falls asleep being groomed. He has a smooth gait and can cover a lot of ground in short time and has a good stop. He was used mostly as a driving horse and ridden by Amish brothers. Intermediate to experienced rider with gaited horse riding knowledge recommended. Cosmo is up to date on worming and hoof trimming. He will need a work on coming to be haltered and taking the bit better. I am moving very soon and cannot take him with me and he is Priced accordingly at $2500.
About Custer, WA
Custer was named after its first postmaster, Albert W. Custer. Originally the town was located at the intersection of the current Valley View and Bay Roads. In 1890-1892 the town moved to the current location with the coming of the railroad. Country singer Loretta Lynn was a resident of Custer in the 1950s and early 1960s when she was a young wife and mother at the start of her legendary career.
