Kiowa is a 2 year old grade filly that has a really nice start and is ready to go in any direction! She is super flashy and very shinny. Kiowa has a naturally curly mane and forelock, so she could have some curly horse in her genetics but her coat is not curly. She has not spooked at anything I've thrown at her and has been in town with lots of cars which doesn't faze her at all. Kiowa is smooth as can be in her trot and canter. She stands tied all day without any problems, loads, saddles, bridals, feet trimming/shoes all super great. Kiowa goes into the bit nicely and listens to your body for a lot of direction. Has had no injuries and is guaranteed sound. This gorgeous girl can't wait to find her forever home with her new partner!
About Joseph, OR
Joseph was platted in 1883, and the economy was originally based around agriculture, especially grain and stock. In 1896 the First Bank of Joseph was robbed, one robber was shot and killed, another shot and captured, and a third escaped with the money. On occasion there have been reenactments of the robbery. After a railroad line was completed to Joseph in 1908, a lumber mill opened, bolstering the economy. When the timber industry collapsed in the 1980s, local unemployment rate approached 17%.
