Hello Meet Smokey, Circle S Ranch is proud to offer you, Smokey. This gorgeous guy is a one-in-a-million and not only awesome to ride but also one to turn heads. Smokey is as safe as they come! Smokey is a 12-year-old Grade Appaloosa Gelding standing 15.1 Hands Tall. He has a kind eye, outstanding confirmation, And an all-around great build. Smokey is a one-of-a-kind horse and will do it all. He is very broke. We have taken him all over the country. He has seen many roping and trail rides across Western Kentucky and South Louisiana. If you can climb up on Smokey and hold the reins, you can ride him, and he will go anywhere you point him, and will be a dream to ride. Smokey will walk calmly as a cucumber, Trot, lope in both directions and moves off leg pressure. Smokey will engage both the front and back end with just very little squeezing pressure of your legs. This gorgeous boy isn’t afraid of anything! He will walk over or up anything you point him towards. Absolutely any level of rider can ride him with ease. You never have to worry about him jumping out from under you. Smokey puts his whole heart into pleasing his rider and doing what is asked of him. He has been in 4-H shows with our 9-year-old and roping with our oldest two boys. He’s an angel on the ground with the best of manners. He will stand tied on a Pickett line or to the side of the trailer, and you will never know he’s even there. Finding a horse as loving and perfect as Smokey is hard. Smokey loves a bath and playing in the water. He will stand there for hours with no care in the world. Anyone can lead him around, and he will follow you with you holding his rope or reins, or he will just willingly follow you without holding him. He will gladly load in a slant load trailer or just a regular ole stock trailer. He doesn’t care. Also, if asked to, he will back out of either trailer. Smokey will stand for the vet and the farrier for however long he needs to. Smokey is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of horse with beautiful colors to go with his amazing personality.
