Ricochet is a beautiful sorrel and white tobiano with just enough white to be superbly striking. He has a beautiful, well-defined head, large soft eyes, an extremely long multi-colored mane (22 inches), and a solid red tail that touches the ground. Ricochet has had extensive professional training in the past five years. He works on a lunge line or free lunges in a round pen and knows all the basic groundwork associated with a well-trained horse. He is set in his gait, and fox trot correctly. He leads and backs well under saddle and on the ground. He stands at the hitching post or cross ties and is easy to clip, including bridle path, whiskers, and fetlocks, and stands quietly for the farrier. Currently shod on all four hooves. Ricochet has lots of trail experience and has been trailered for horse camping weekends; he loads into and backs out-of-stock type trailers and LQs and stands quietly with no issues on a high line in camp. He minds his own business and does not need to be close to another horse for security. He handles any terrain with surefootedness; crosses creeks, ditches, logs, brush, mud, and puddles. He will ride any place with a group front, middle, or back and ride alone with zero issues. He is fine with traffic, ATVs, dogs, bikes, and hikers. He stands at a mounting block, picnic table, stump, ditch, or whatever you need to mount up and doesn’t move away until he’s given the ok. Note the rider in the video is 6’2″. Ricochet loves bathing and getting sprayed with water and stands quietly for fly spray. He is in the middle of the pecking order in my herd, is easy to catch (he catches you), and is a very personable horse who loves attention. He has given pony rides to my 3-year-old granddaughter. Ricochet is UTD on coggins, vaccinations, dental, sheath cleaning, and deworming, as indicated by fecal egg counts. I have owned and ridden Ricochet for the past five years; he has not been passed or bounced around from owner to owner. This guy has had the best care and a lot of training while I’ve owned him. He is a fun horse to ride and be around.
