It’s a privilege to bring you this stunning and extremely dappled palomino mare, Brûlée!!
Brûlée is a 7yo registered AQHA mare with exceptional bloodlines.
Brûlée had 30 days of reining training, 30 days of western pleasure training, and 30 days of cutting training last year, along with this year’s extensive miles and bomb-proofing! We have taken her camping through miles of territory in tough terrain and difficult situations and living very close to town, so we have had the ability to do tons of trail rides into town, around trains, bikes, dogs, vehicles, and lots of people! We have ridden her to lunch, coffee shops, and even the brewery!
In the last few months, I have taught kids lessons on her in all disciplines, jumping, western pleasure, some light gymkhana work, and even messed around bareback and done some bridle-less fun!
Brûlée has a huge stop and is also getting her spin and side pass down pat! She has an amazing collection and knows how to hold herself; this mare could catch any judge’s eye in the ring! She is also EXTREMELY quick and catty all around, but especially around cows. Brûlée has had a rope thrown off of her as well as dragged cows, logs, barrels, etc.
She would make a fabulous 4-H horse, family horse, or something to go help out on the ranch!
We have lightly jumped her, and she’s been at just over 2 feet but could go much higher with consistency in that aspect!
As you will see in her detailed video, we have done a little bit of everything with her, with all ages and experience levels, don’t miss out on this beautiful, kindhearted mare!
About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
