Aspc Shetland Pony Mare

Beautiful, ASPC/AMHR 10 year old Shetland pony broodmare for sale. She is a lovely black and white pinto with a gorgeous Arab type head and confirmation. Her registered name is Mulligan's Run Music of the Night and her movement is pure music. She has a strong trot and carries her tail high when excited. We call her Melody. She has been a broodmare her whole life so has only basic ground training. She is halter broken and leads well, ties great. She does well with the farrier too. She is a little shy but is getting much better. She was left to herself to carry babies for 8 years so is still learning about human companionship. She would make a great broodmare if you're looking for gorgeous foals or she wants to bond with a special person who has time to be patient and work with her. I spend as much time as I can with her but have never trained an older horse from the ground up. She has gorgeous foals. We had her colt till recently and he's a very handsome black and white Tobiano. I have seen pictures of 2 other fillies of hers that were registered. One black & white pinto, one bay & white pinto, looking much like her. I can provide pictures of them as needed. She was sold to me as being 36" but I measured her recently when I made my measuring stick and she is actually 39 1/2". In November, she had a negative Coggins test. She has her Spring vaccinations and was wormed in February. Had her teeth floated in March. She just had her feet trimmed in June. If a vet exam or another Coggins test is needed or desired, buyer is responsible for making arrangements and payment. I will let the vet on the property and aid where I can.
