Levi is a Sorrel Quarter Horse gelding. He stands 14.3 hands. Levi came from an older gentleman who used Levi for trail riding with his grandkids in the national forest, state park, and a couple of parades. I have been using Levi for everything that I do around here. I have roped lots of small calves and the roping dummy on him. I have used him to pen large groups of cattle and taken him to a couple of team sorting competitions. Levi is shoer friendly. He has shoes on at this time but does not require them. I have been practicing cowboy-mounted shooting off of him. He is doing a great job and has become a nice little shooting horse. Levi started very well on the cart. He handles it very well; if you can hold the reins, you can drive him! Levi is trained to lie down on command and sit up like a dog. He really likes doing it. He is fun to ride, and if you wanted to show off, he could make you look like a real cowboy! Levi is youth suitable. He is very, very gentle. Don’t get spooked or excited about anything. He lopes both ways very easy catches his leads with no problem. He’s got an easy one-hand neck rein. I’ve even ridden him without the bridle.
