Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in New York, NY

???Eventing Prospect??? Ferrari is a smaller ottb gelding with tons of promise for an eventing career. He is 8 years old and will be turning 9 in October. Super cute bay coloring and an even cuter snip on his nose. Retired sound from the track in 2020. Ferrari currently works with our trainers daily and has been making phenomenal progress. Parks himself at the mounting block and won't move untill you tell him to. Basic knowledge in dressage and knows what leg is. He will respond to pressure on either side when riding and he takes a cross rail. W/t/c. Goes on trail rides 3× weekly. He is fine going out by himself but prefers a buddy or he will get anxious. Looking to find an advanced rider for him as he does have anxiety and needs someone with experience. Serious inquiries only.

About New York, NY

In 1664, the city was named in honor of the Duke of York, who would become King James II of England. James's older brother, King Charles II, had appointed the Duke proprietor of the former territory of New Netherland, including the city of New Amsterdam, which England had recently seized from the Dutch. During the Wisconsin glaciation, 75,000 to 11,000 years ago, the New York City region was situated at the edge of a large ice sheet over 2,000 feet (610 m) in depth. The erosive forward movement of the ice (and its subsequent retreat) contributed to the separation of what is now Long Island and Staten Island. That action also left bedrock at a relatively shallow depth, providing a solid foundation for most of Manhattan's skyscrapers.
