Docta Peppa is a 15.2hh AQHA Registered Sorrel Gelding. He is pretty as a picture with the sweetest disposition you could ask for! He is the first to meet you in the field, but he also stalls like a champ! Loves to be groomed & pampered. My kids are his favorite caretakers. I have Dr. Pepper in for a client who trains big-time barrel horses; he’s not the caliber of horse he currently wants to run. He could make a 2/3D horse with more seasoning if you wanted to take him that route. He’s an excellent trail horse! Crosses whatever you put in front of him. Rides front, middle, or back of the pack with no issues. He gets along with everyone in the field & loves the ponies & babies. Loads & hauls like a dream on several different types of trailers. He’s currently being used on our feedlot in KY daily. He likes to move & drive cattle. He gets better & more confident on every trip to town. Currently being hauled to different arenas to get more seasoned & have more hauling experience. This big guy will lope out of his tracks. He has a nice handle & will ride very collected. He would excel in English events as well if you wanted. He takes everything in stride & isn’t spooky or silly when asked to do something new. Takes both leads & moves off of your legs very easily. An experienced youth rider can do great on him. He’s very easy to handle & ride. He’s vet-checked, sound, sane & ready for a new job. He’s the kind everyone is looking for. Call or Text me today to set up an appointment to come & try him.
About Woodburn, KY
Woodburn began as a hamlet known as "Mason's Inn," which served as a stop along the stagecoach road that roughly followed what is now U.S. Route 31W. It is believed to have gotten its current name from a nearby forest that had been destroyed by fire. The L&N established a depot at the site in 1859, initially calling it "New Woodburn," but reverting simply to "Woodburn" by 1864. A townsite was platted next to the depot in 1865, and the city was incorporated the following year.
