ISO - Laid Back AQHA/APHA

The ad structure requires selection of age, color, gender & breed - please ignore that. We are looking for a healthy QH or Paint to live the remainder of his/her life at our home. Will enjoy pasture and being ridden by grand children and husband - so needs to be pretty laid back/safe. I would love for our new addition to be able to hit an open show now and then, but that is not a deal breaker. My experience is w/all-around horses (western, english - rail & patterns). I have shown in local shows & QH circuit, up to Congress - I prefer playing around at home nowadays though. If a grandchild is interested in showing, I will certainly train, coach and haul for them. All of our animals get only the very BEST care. We don't sign up for anything unless we can afford all facets of care - preventative & emergency, and we have the time to devote to the animal.
