Pony Gelding for Sale in Raleigh, NC

Project Pony. The Good: 11 years old, 10.1hh, UTD shots/farrier, enjoys lead line, easy keeper, loves walking on trails, cross ties, and wants his 'person' that he can trust and love The Bad: He doesn't get along well with other horses in the pasture and gets defensive if he feels like he is going to be hit (fast movements, etc) and will spin to kick. He tenses up around kids, snarls his teeth, ect. It breaks my heart getting rid of this guy. I've had him for a year and worked with him a lot. He is a puppy dog around me. He follows me around the pasture, I can hug him, pet him, etc and he's a love. The downfall is, I'm pretty sure he was beat on by some kids before me and takes awhile to warm up and trust. I don't trust him enough to let my 4 year old run out in the pasture and love on him.

About Raleigh, NC

Bath, the oldest town in North Carolina, was the first nominal capital of the colony from 1705 until 1722, when Edenton took over the role. The colony had no permanent institutions of government until the new capital New Bern was established in 1743. In December 1770, Joel Lane successfully petitioned the North Carolina General Assembly to create a new county. On January 5, 1771, the bill creating Wake County was passed in the General Assembly. The county was formed from portions of Cumberland, Orange, and Johnston counties.
