Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Ellensburg, WA
Very sensitive and responds very well. Eager to learn and please whoever. Very affectionate and loves all she sees. Is not a lead mare. She is submissive towards other horses. Saddles great, bridles great, walks, trots, canters great. Desensitized for the most part. She needs to trust before she starts to not be startled by anything. I’m going away for wild fire fighting and don’t have time to work her as much as she needs. She trailers fantastically. I have never had any issues with this mare and she is great. She would be amazing at barrels, I’ve ran her around them before and she makes great corners. I’ve carried flags on her and she does great but at first she was startled. She has never bit or kicked. Never had shoes. She has great feet and has good strength in them. She is not sensitive in her feet that I have seen. She loves trails. She has been around cows but never worked cows. I’m sure if she had training to heard cows she would do great. I personally think she can go very far with knowledge if the right person trains her gently and praisingly. Her right side is better then her left. Doesn’t run away when I’m the field. She actually walks right up to me and follows me everywhere. She has a very good blood line. I have invested a lot into this horse and I am very sad to have to sell but she needs someone who can give her a lot of time to get her to her full potential. She is papers and has a great blood line.
