Hazel has been my younger sisters horse for the past 4 years, and has taught her so much about riding. The only reason we are offering her for sale, is due to me being in college and my sister moving back north. Hazel is extremely docile and gentle. She is the kind of horse that is a step up from a pony, and can teach someone who knows all the basics to even further their riding. Hazel works nice in an arena. She will lope circles nicely, pickup her correct leads, slide stop, backs, and side passes. She has mostly been used as a trail horse, where she will cross creeks, ditches and downed trees. Hazel will take care of her rider with each step and is fun and easy to enjoy. She has been exposed to all sorts of livestock and farm equipment, tarps, and gun shots as nothing bothers this lady.
