Chief is a spotted saddle draft cross gelding. He is a big gentle giant. He stands 15.3 hands tall and is big-boned like a draft horse. He wears a number 3 shoe. Super laid back and easygoing, easy to catch wherever you find him, loads and unloads, and tacks up great. He will one hand neck rein around like a quarter horse and stands for farrier and to mount, with or without a mounting block. He is not jumpy or scared of anything, so you won’t have to worry when you’re up on this big guy. He will ride anywhere in the group with zero problems. He is one of the easiest-going, big horses you can find. We have used him to pack wild game while hunting. Chief has been around many ATVs, hikers, bicyclists, cattle, and dogs. He is also traffic safe. He is the type of horse the whole family can ride and enjoy for years to come.
